'Speed Bowls' is an innovative new concept designed specifically for 'The Lawn Bowls Show'.
So what exactly is speed bowls? Well it's very much like the standard version of the game, except it plays a little bit quicker!
Whereas in regular lawn bowls, bowlers take turns to roll each bowl down, in speed bowls both teams bowl at the same time. For each round, both teams must bowl 3 bowls in 10 seconds. As there is not really any room for adjustment inbetween bowls, this produces fun and often unexpected results!

The game of speed bowls is light hearted in nature and should not be seen in any way as a replacement or threat to the existing game of lawn bowls.
